A series of mini-workshops focusing on the new national themes document that Rugby Canada launches in Jan 2016. These workshops are ideally for providing existing certified rugby coaches with P.D. points needed in maintaining their good standing"with Rugby Canada. Coaches new to rugby would find this session greatly beneficial.
About the Workshop
The focus on the sessions will be on the Key Provincial Themes that will help build a game structure that develops and challenges individual players and their skills, at all levels.
In January, Rugby Canada is releasing a national coaching plan, and these "themes" will be an integral part of that document. Workshop attendees will be amongst the first coaches to be given insight to this new national program. The workshop will also focus on establishing a common province-wide rugby instruction terminology and set of best-practices for coaches, aimed at helping our players in their efforts to play for the province. Anyone interested in helping rugby grow in the Thompson-Okanagan region is encouraged to attend.
