2018 Ensign Cup Offers Great Day of Rugby Events

On May 12, the Kelowna Crows rugby club, in conjunction with TORA, CORE, and the Priest Valley Vicars, is hosting a large rugby day at Parkinson rec center. All rugby groups, teams, clubs, players, supporters and ruggers of other categories are invited to join us for all or part of the festivities.

9am-11:30am: U14 7s Tournament
Players from the Okanagan (TORA) will be competing against several club sides from the lower mainland. Our U14s from Kelowna went on a tour this past fall and beat two high-ranked teams. This should be an exciting event!

11:30am: Open Touch Rugby Game
Everyone of all ages is invited to participate in this game. It is a lot of fun. $5 donation to play (goes directly to Junior Rugby development).

1:00pm: Priest Valley Vicars Old Boys Game Against Twilighters
Come watch and support the over-40's. This is great fun rugby and showcases how rugby players continue playing this game throughout their lives.

2:30pm: ENSIGN CUP
This is the 35-year-old traditional alumni/intersquad game played by adult men. The 'Over-30s' play the 'Under-30s' in a social-yet-competitive game. $10 entry to play with all proceeds going to junior rugby.

The will be on site with merchandise available. There will be a concession as well.

You are encouraged to come out on May 12 to play, watch, and/or support rugby in Kelowna. Kelowna has a lot of rugby happening right now and this is a chance to get all of us together for a great day of rugby.
